Hay Window is a free weather tool designed to help farmers determine optimal conditions for cutting and curing dry hay. This privacy policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Hay Window does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The app does not require you to create an account or provide any personal details.
When you enter a ZIP code, it is used only to retrieve weather data from the National Weather Service (weather.gov) and a ZIP code geocoding service (zippopotam.us). Your ZIP code is stored locally on your device only so the app can remember your last-used location. It is never sent to us or any third party other than those weather services.
All weather data is retrieved from the United States National Weather Service (api.weather.gov), a free public government service. No personal data is sent as part of these requests.
If you enable morning alerts, the notification time you set is stored locally on your device only. Notifications are generated on your device and no data is sent to any server to produce them.
Hay Window may display advertisements served by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google's privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. You may opt out of personalized ads through your device's ad settings.
The app uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Hay Window does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
